Trailing Demons

You say that your demons can’t go there

But mine went long ago and brought back souvenirs.

See how they carry them?

Not like baggage, but tiaras,

prideful.

 

I think I might never be rid of them, but

sometimes I don’t mind.

They dance so well,

maybe they’ll teach me

one day

at

a

time.
